Milk

Not only does milk hydrate a person, it delivers a great deal of calcium. And guess what? If you work out, you have an automatic excuse to have chocolate milk. Chocolate milk gives you both carbs for energy and protein to boost your muscles. If you cannot consume dairy, a fruit smoothie can do the same job.
