In our last blog, we shared two important tips for staying injury-free, including being patient and increasing your workouts steadily. Today, we have two more tips for you!
One of the most common sources of injury is overuse. If you continually workout the same family of muscles, you will end up neglecting the rest. You will also weary the muscles, leading to damage. The only way to avoid this, is to vary your workouts. You don’t have to participate in a dozen sports – just change it up a little. For instance, you can ride your bike instead of running or take a bootcamp class in addition to lifting. Using your muscles in different ways is one of the best ways you can protect yourself. It will also prevent you from getting bored, which can demolish your motivation.
Keep records and follow a program
How can you stay motivated when you can’t measure there results of your hard work?
