Objective 1: “Laying the foundation for orienting individual trainee’s goals”

Body Fat Analysis:

An Ultrasound Body Fat test is used to determine the client’s overall body fat composition. The combination of tape measurements and the ultrasound provides accurate numbers to gauge water intake, body fat percentage, and lean muscle mass

Vo2 max:

Thrive’s Vo2 max machine is used to reflect an individual’s physical level of fitness by measuring the maximum capacity of an individual’s body to transport and use oxygen during exercise. Vo2 determines the liters of oxygen used per minute.

Nutritional Foundation:

Each diet plan provided by your fitness coach is unique to the individual client. Once your body fat analysis is complete, your nutritional requests and needs will be met.

Objective 2: Determining Fundamental Movements and Level of Endurance

After determining your overall body composition, clients move to actual physical movements that determine the following:

  • Range of Motion
  • Flexibility
  • Endurance
  • Strength
  • Fundamental movements
  • Form
  • Speed
  • Stamina

Objective 3: Designing a Fitness Program Right for You!

The body fat analysis and fundamental movements test determine exactly what kind of exercise program works best for you. When deciding on a program, the following factors are taken into account:

  • Choosing a program based on one of the following: weight loss, lean muscle gain, endurance/stamina improvements, toning, or body fat loss
  • Session count (duration of program)
  • In home training, time of day, and times/week
  • Nutrition plan

Objective 4: 4-6 Week Reassessment

Each client is given the same body fat analysis they were given at the initiation of his or her training. This is to ensure progress, track progress, and to set new goals or reassess original goals. A program cannot possibly be affective without tracking progress.

  • Ultrasound Body Fat Test
  • Vo2 max test

Objective 5: How to Increase Results

After determining where the individual has or has not made progress, the goals are revisited and possibly re-evaluated. For example, is an individual has reached his or her weight loss goals, it may be time to transition to toning and lean muscle gain.
